Shipping Details
Live butterflies are always sent Next-Day or Priority Overnight Delivery. The exception will be for a Monday event, as the delivery will need to be made on the Saturday before.

There is no available Sunday deliveries from carriers

Upon butterfly arrival, immediately open the outer box and remove the smaller box inside. This box contains your butterflies! Open this box. You will continue to use this box for butterfly storage until your event. Make sure there is a responsible person assigned to care for the butterflies until release time.

There is a cold pack inside that you will immediately replace with one that you have agreed to provide.

We guarantee to ship live, healthy, and disease-free butterflies. All butterflies are hand selected for quality assurance. They are fed and exercised just prior to shipping. Please contact us immediately/ within 24 hours if there is a hiccup. We aim to make every delivery a success! The butterflies' well-being is a top priority along with customer satisfaction. Butterflies are reared specifically for your event. No refunds.
Temperature Matters!
Temperature Matters: Glass House Butterfly Farm will only ship live butterflies if they can survive outside temperatures!! Please be advised that daytime highs need to meet or exceed 65 degrees and nighttime lows must meet or exceed 50 degrees for no less than 7 consecutive days where they are to be shipped And released. The 10 day forecast is monitored closely by our staff to ensure butterfly survival. Glass House Butterfly Farm maintains the right to refuse shipment if ethical conditions are not certain. We will work with you very closely to ensure these parameters are met.
