“Glass House Butterfly Farm and Gardens provided an unforgettable learning experience for our first-grade students at Powhatan School during our butterfly science unit. Amelia King visited our classrooms and delivered an engaging and age-appropriate presentation on the life cycle of butterflies, helping students build a deeper understanding of these incredible insects.

Not only did she share her expertise, but she also created a hands-on experience by allowing students to feed Monarch butterflies and participate in a live butterfly release. Watching the butterflies up close and seeing them take flight brought our learning to life in the most magical and meaningful way.
